Ouch!
You can hear the wind go out of my sails at about 2:04… At first I thought it was a Miguel Tejada, which I could have lived with, but then I saw Mora’s name in the number 2 spot, circled in black, mocking me. It was definitely a kick in the groin feeling. But at this point I still had hope for the second pack. Maybe I’ll pull one of those Mystery Dual Cut Redemptions. Or maybe I’ll pull…….
Garrett Atkins ladies and gentlemen! Still, Card #2 is much better than the Melvin Mora. Which is like saying getting punched in the stomach is better than getting kicked in the groin.
Now I don’t want to offend any Rockies fans, or Melvin Mora’s mother, but when you drop $200 on two cards, Melvin Mora + Garrett Atkins = LOSE.
Oh well…. I took a shot and I missed. Big time. And it ricocheted. And hit me in the face.
You know what though? I’m about ready to bust some more high-end stuff. Gotta love this hobby.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude…. I’ve been sitting here for 3 minutes trying to find some consoling words but can’t think of any. But whatever you do. Don’t buy any Lotto tickets
