Donruss Americana Box Breaks
January 6th, 2008 by AlexFrom what I’ve seen, Donruss Americana is pretty crappy… Lots of D-list celebrities. Basically, if you don’t get Bogart or Marilyn Monroe you won’t be happy.

On the average, there is one autograph per box. I’ve seen one case opened at the Frank n Sons show, and it appears for the majority of the box breaks, the autos are of the B rated actresses or unknown singers. What is frustrating about this product is why would they consider some of the inserts of people (auto or swatch) part of the Americana. There are many more stars that I would define as Americana such as Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman, etc. Why is Gail Kim, the Mojo girl considered part of Americana…I think the best item one can get from a box (not including the 1/1s etc) are the legends swatches such as Bogart, monroe, etc
